Meet Etima Umeh

Etima Umeh labelled the “Worlds best girls coach” by her mentees is Africa’s leading voice in girl mentorship, passionately committed to raising strong, emotionally intelligent, and purpose-driven girls across the continent and beyond. She started off as a Teens Mentor over 20 years ago mentoring both preteens and teens through a mentoring teen club and other transformational programs.

Etima Umeh’s strong passion for girls over the years has seen her focusing and deepening her work with girls. As the force, heart, mind, and leading voice behind The Girls Hub, Etima Umeh is dedicated to equipping girls with the mindset, values, and leadership tools they need to rise confidently in today’s ever evolving world. Through faith-based mentoring, emotional intelligence, and personal growth programs, she helps girls navigate the pressures of modern girlhood and become future- ready leaders inside and out.

The Girls Hub

The Girls Hub is an annual mentoring program for girls aged 5 to 19 and above. It’s designed to build character, confidence, life skills, and purpose in every girl through consistent guidance, mentorship, and empowering activities.

It is a platform for mentoring girls-preteen, teen and young girls.

The organization was officially registered in 2020, but has been in existence since
2013 through a mentoring club.

Our founder, Etima Umeh observed a huge gap with this age group in terms of
knowledge, guidance, and accountability through about 2 decades of interacting with
them.

Many of her mentees are now peer mentors, youth leaders, and entrepreneurs.

The Girls Hub caters for its participants within and outside Nigeria. Online
participants are especially drawn from Africa, Europe, America, Asia, and Australia.

The Girls Hub is a movement redefining how girls think, live, and thrive in a complex
world. We’re not fixing girls. We’re preparing them.
